I love Mercurial! As a tool, it's done me well, and I too like the simplicity 
of it, the ability to set up a repo anywhere, etc. 

Realistically, though, if you've picked your tool and are trying to justify 
its use, you're doing it wrong. 

Identify the *needs* that your organization has, and then work back from 
there. Git and Mercurial are both high-quality, similar products, similar 
enough that you probably aren't going to make a major mistake either way. 
Focus on the needs of your organization and drive the decision from there. 
That way you're most sure to make the best decision.
