Thank you Matt for this information.

I'd been considering recommending that we migrate over to Linux (or at minimum start testing that options) so this information definitely helps.

For hgweb, Linux + Apache is definitely the recommended setup if you have a choice. Linux + Nginx works fine but isn't any simpler or faster and has a few config pitfalls, so I wouldn't bother unless you're married to Nginx for some reason.

The most problematic choice with the weirdest bugs that never get fixed is Windows + IIS. Performance is pretty bad too.
