mercurial vs >= 3.0 deb for Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit

That is very helpful, thanks.

I thing is: on one machine I have hg vs 3.0.1 installed on my main
machine together with TortoiseHg, in a way which does not allow any
other version of hg to be used. I am not really using thg that often,
but often enough to miss it especially when collaborators of mine stick
to it.

That constraint however binds me to version 3.0.1 on the other machine I
think.

 make deb was not part of the 3.0.x series?
