Hi all,

For a long time Mercurial has been lacking a good self-hosted repository
management. With RhodeCode 4.0 we open sourced two years of work under the
AGPL license so that Mercurial community can have a unified platform for
source code management, code reviews, and integrations. I personally
believe in OpenSource, and given that it's how RhodeCode was firstly
introduced i'm really excited to have the opportunity to do this again.

Some of the RhodeCode’s features are:

   -

   pluggable architecture (with Pyramid framework)
   -

advanced permission system with IP restrictions
   -

advanced pull request with server-side merges with optional rebase and
   Mercurial phases support.
   -

full text search on source code
   -

   full web based file editing
   -

   snippets (gist) system
   -

rich set of authentication plugins including LDAP, ActiveDirectory,
   Atlassian Crowd, Http-Headers, Pam, Token-Auth
   -

integration with all 3rd party issue trackers
   -

multi-VCS (same tools and rules across Mercurial, Git & SVN)

It’s good to be back, we can’t wait to see how RhodeCode will develop over
time.

Thanks,

Marcin Kuzminski
