Can't edit commit message by pressing m in 'crecord' interactive mode

In that case, one can just manually open an editor to edit a commit
message while one selects chunks, then copy and paste when mercurial
prompts for the commit message. Is it so difficult?

Quasi-legal bullshit. More than scaring any person which is not the
intended recipient and receives your “confidential” information by
error, this would probably push him to publish your message instead of
simply deleting it.
