strange behavior of hg-git: hg status -A: the I label

Hi

Since I am unable to run
hg clone http://orgmode.org/org-mode.git

(I already submitted a bug report)

I run first
git  clone http://orgmode.org/org-mode.git

And then

 hg clone org-mode org-mode-hg

Now there is an issue

 hg status -A

Shows me all the interesting lisp files flagged with I
(ignored).

    -  why is this so?

    -  how can I undo the ignore option. I resume
       hg add files-in-question might destroy their history.

Any help is appreciated.
