Appears that your Qt4 installation is somewhat broken, e.g. missing SVG loader,
bad font library or configuration, etc. If you've installed any third-party
packages which might overwrite system binaries, try removing them and reinstall
Qt4 and PyQt4 packages from the official distribution repository.

Also try "LC_MESSAGES=C thg" to see if Latin fonts are okay.
