convert vers clone (git-hg)

Hi 

I run the following test.

 Git clone git://git.savannah.gnu.org/auctex.git

Then 

    1. Hg clone auctex auctex-git-plugin

    2. Hg convert --datasort auctex auctex-data

    3. Hg convert --branchsort auctex auctex-branch

The converted repos were around 19 Mega (the git repo itself 23M)
the cloned one 32M

What puzzles me more are the heads

    1. Both converted have 3 heads (and 3 bookmarks)

    2. The cloned one no bookmarks but 46 heads.

Any comments?
