I never claimed that (I should have used «could» instead of «would».

Ludovic conjectured that helix uses a plugin. I thought that is
impossible because of named branches.

Manuel told me that the hg-git plugin somehow can deal with named
branches, which I still was not able to verify.

I noticed that both helix and sourcehut don't offer 
hg log -G

(Which I really miss).

So I thought one possible explanation is that they really can't because
they use  the plugin.
