And what about "/usr/lib64/python3.6/"? Should that be added too? Does
order matter in "PYTHONPATH"?
Apropos Python 3.6: Rumors on the Gentoo list have it that the Python
2.7 package will be kicked out end of this year due to lack of a maint-
ainer. Is Mercurial meanwhile Python 3 ready? Could any of the Mercur-
ial developers comment on that?

Erm, the only sub-directory below "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/
hggit/" is "help/", which doesn't help either:
$ grep /lib64/ .hgrc
hggit = /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/hggit/
hgsubversion = /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/hgsubversion
$ hg st
*** failed to import extension hggit from /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/hggit/: No module named 'gitrepo'
*** failed to import extension hgsubversion from /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/hgsubversion: No module named 'svncommands'
M .hgrc
$ export PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib64/python2.7
$ hg st

What's going on here?
