rpm repodata

Hi Pierre-Yves David,

I'm looking for some more info on the (outdated) rpm/yum repodata,
hosted on the mercurial-scm page:
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/release/centos7/repodata/

as you might know, Mathias De Maré uploads centos rpms for some time,
but it is actually only recently that we found out that the repodata
is not updated for a long time (2016)
We would like to update it again, but are looking for a proper and
correct way to do so.

Looking at https://www.mercurial-scm.org/wiki/Download?action=diff&rev1=476&rev2=477,
it looks like originally you at least had some info on how this rpm
repodata was created. Is that correct?
Would you still have the script/command line you used to execute the
'createrepo' command?

If we know how to keep it up to date, we might also maintain it from our side,
