hg-stable from https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg-stable causes errors

Hi

I did a 

hg clone https://www.mercurial-scm.org/repo/hg-stable causes errors
make local

And then 

./hg --version
*** failed to import extension b from /home/oub/ALLES/src/b/src/b.py: 'module' object has no attribute 'command'
*** failed to import extension artemis from /home/oub/ALLES/src/Artemis/artemis: 'module' object has no attribute 'command'
*** failed to import extension evolve: No module named evolve
*** failed to import extension hggit: 'module' object has no attribute 'ignore'

So the message 1,2,4 and for indicate some incompatibility issues. How
can they be solved?

Number 3 I don't understand, the hg version I run (installed from a ppa
I mentioned in an earlier message) uses the evolve extension I installed
via pip, but hg-stable does not find it, why?
