hg-git cannot clone gitlab repositories via https

Hi  

I have successfully clone github repositories, 
but I failed with gitlab
hg  clone https://gitlab.com/git-pab/annu.git annu-hg
after typing user and password (the same procedure if I clone via git) 

But then 


abort: git remote error: unexpected http resp 401 for https://gitlab.com/git-pab/annu.git/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack


Anybody has an idea?
