hg experimental (facebook)

Hi

I just cloned ssh://hg@bitbucket.org/facebook/hg-experimental
and installed it.

However for example

 hg backups

Gives me:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/hg", line 43, in <module>
    dispatch.run()
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/mercurial/dispatch.py", line 99, in run
    status = dispatch(req)

So it seems not compatible with my 5.0.1 I am currently using. 

Any ideas? 

Is hg-experimental still maintained? Last changeset is
November 2018.
