Although mostly lurking, I share the concerns that this would sound like 
it was somehow endorsed by the Mercurial community and hinder 
(potential) other options.

What's totally confusing though is that when I tried to access that site 
I am redirected to https://heptapod.host (better name, IMHO) which 
greets me with the message:

   Manage Git repositories with fine-grained access controls that keep
   your code secure. Perform code reviews and enhance collaboration
   with merge requests. Each project can also have an issue tracker and a
   wiki.

Perhaps that could be fixed?
