I would love to see that ! Although to be fair, I should say that I 
never got around using Mercurial from Emacs. I usually keep terminals on 
hand to run tests etc and launch hg commands.

Meanwhile, if you're not already using it, perhaps give the (builtin) 
curses extension a try.
