ubuntu 24 (and most likely debian 12) does not allow to install evolve

On which os are you? why are you using Py2.7 and old versions of
mercurial/evolve/hg-git
I browsed back you email but didn't quite understand.
I thought you where on latest Ubuntu where thighs are pretty simple with
pipx but I see you're trying old staff so I may have missed some info.
