pull requests, hg-git and remotenames

Hi all

By today, at least in places like github and gitlab pull requests are
common (I prersonally dislike them).

Now git has remote branch tracking and mercurial has not but has the
remotesnames extension.

However, at least for me with hg 6.8 and a recent hg-git version remote
names do not work.

So the workflow is like this.

    1. A repository gets forked

    2. The fork gets cloned, some changesets on the main or a new branch
are added, the changes are pused to the fork

    3. And pull request is made.

    4. If I know pull from the fork, I end up with some changesets I
don't know where they came from (and this is why I don't like
       this workflow)

How do people here on the list deal with pull requests on github using hg-git?

Regards

Uwe Brauer
