Thanks very much, that is good to know.
I tried it but when pushing the resulting repository to the Github one,
with hg-git, it causes quite a mess (I forked the repository for testing
purpose).
So I
1. Either always delete the git branch on remote with git before
pushing with hg.
2. run hg push -b default
3. run hg push -f

I strongly condemn Hamas heinous despicable pogroms/atrocities on Israel
I strongly condemn Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine.
I support to deliver weapons to Ukraine's military.
I support the EU and NATO membership of Ukraine.
