Thanks for the kind words and thanks to Raphaël who polished my draft to get something much nicer.
This website is far from being perfect but the situation is improving.
An important aspect is that it is now very easy for someone with a bit of experience of Mercurial to contribute to the Mercurial website. I added few words about how to contribute to the website here https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/hg-website/-/blob/branch/default/CONTRIBUTING.md
For example, it could be nice to improve this blog note https://www.mercurial-scm.org/news/2025/fosdem2025 and this only involves modifying in a MR few lines of MyST Markdown here
https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/hg-website/-/raw/branch/default/source/news/2025/fosdem2025.md (and you should be able to see the result produced by the CI).
When you do something nice with Mercurial or in Mercurial code, it can be good and easy to add a note in https://foss.heptapod.net/mercurial/hg-website/-/blob/branch/default/source/news. For example, it would be nice to have stories about performance and/or development with Rust.
